✅ Key Responsibilities

Train Dispatching: Safely dispatch trains from station platforms following strict safety procedures.

Customer Information: Use the Customer Information System (CIS) to announce train arrivals and departures.

Delay Management: Record delays, train re-platforming, and disruptions that affect train schedules.

Customer Assistance: Provide high-quality support to all passengers, including those with reduced mobility.

Safety Checks: Conduct essential security and health and safety inspections.

Conflict Management: Handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.

Strong customer service orientation and professional presentation

Ability to remain calm and solution-focused during high-pressure situations

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Flexible and adaptable with shift patterns

Confident in decision-making and working independently

Basic IT skills, along with strong maths and English

Must live within a reasonable commute to Birmingham Snow Hill Station (due to early/late shifts)
