Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service in library and study areas during evening and weekend shifts

  • Support library resource management, clerical tasks, and technology use

  • Assist with social media and engagement activities

  • Help maintain library facilities, including health and safety compliance

  • Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth library operations


Work Patterns Available

  • Post 1: Wednesdays 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturdays 11:00 am – 6:00 pm

  • Post 2: Wednesdays and Thursdays 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturdays 11:00 am – 6:00 pm


Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering excellent customer service

  • Strong communication, IT, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Minimum 5 GCSEs (grades A*-C) or equivalent

  • Previous library or information services experience preferred

  • Reliable, responsible, and good time management
