Job Type: Part-time / Full-time / Permanent (Zero-hours contract)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Schedule: 8-hour shifts | Day shifts | Monday to Friday | Weekend availability required

Are you passionate about Asian cuisine and providing top-notch customer service? Korea Foods Company, the largest importer and retailer of Korean and Asian food in Europe, is hiring Shop Assistants to join our expanding team in Liverpool City Centre.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fast-growing international food retailer that operates 19 stores across the UK and supplies over 1200 wholesale customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock management: Replenish and maintain product displays in a clean, organized, and professional manner.

  • Customer service: Greet and assist customers in a friendly, approachable way, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

  • Product knowledge: Stay informed about our diverse product range including Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese foods.

  • Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, hygienic store environment with regular cleaning.

  • Security: Remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to store management.

  • Administrative support as needed.

  • Follow health and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Must be eligible to work in the UK.

  • Must be able to lift and handle goods weighing 20kg or more.

  • Must have weekend availability and flexible working hours.

  • Previous retail experience (preferred but not essential).

  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

  • Team player with the ability to work independently.

  • Multilingual ability (Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Vietnamese, or Japanese) is a plus.
